Role Purpose

The main purpose of a Driver role is to engage with our guests and create a memorable experience along the journey from Airports to the Lounges and back.  The Driver will be responsible for providing safe, friendly, and efficient transportation services to all Sindalah guests and staff across the Island.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

  • Maintain a cheerful, helpful and friendly attitude towards colleagues, on-island staff and guests and provide a courteous and professional service.

  • Drive guests as required, following schedules or routes defined by the Site Supervisor, or Dispatcher.

  • Answer all guest questions with a high level of knowledge about Sindalah facilities and services, as well as KSA and other NEOM entities.

  • Communicate effectively with passengers, staff, and management to provide seamless service.

  • Handle any passenger complaints or issues in a professional manner.

  • To provide guests assistance with luggage, baby strollers etc when required, ensuring it is handled with care.

  • Maintain a valid driving license and operate the vehicle in accordance with all local laws and regulations, as well as NEOM and Sindalah policies.

  • Record usage of vehicle as required, ensuring close communication with the dispatcher and Site Supervisor.

  • Ensure the vehicle is always clean and in good working condition.

  • Assist guests with their luggage and other belongings.

  • Determine appropriate routes and ensure timely arrival to pick up locations and destinations.

  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.

  • Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs to management.

  • Ensure client confidentiality and privacy.

  • Stay updated on current road conditions and routes.

  • Handle any other duties as assigned by management.

  • Ensure guests put the seatbelt on before the vehicle starts moving.

  • Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors and/or dispatcher immediately.

  • Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level and tire pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to communicate in English (mandatory), Arabic (preferred), and other languages (preferred)

  • Excellent guest service skills, ability to engage with guests and provide courteous service.

Background, Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

  • Physical ability to help passengers load and unload luggage, handling up to at least 30kg.

  • Ability to operate the vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.

  • Skilled in providing immediate first aid treatment in case of any injury or illness.

  • Ability Perform CPR and other necessary first aid procedures during an emergency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ideally 5 years of experience driving vehicle of a similar class.

  • Experience in a similar role and/or within guest services at a major hotel group / hotel management company is preferred
