The Marina Fuel Supervisor oversees all fuelling operations and ensures the highest level of customer service is provided to superyachts and other vessels. This role includes booking and scheduling fuel deliveries, training and supervising the fuel operator team, and ensuring all operations comply with safety and environmental regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Oversees the operation of fueling services from a floating barge to superyachts, ensuring efficient and safe procedures.

Manages the booking and scheduling of fuel deliveries, coordinating with yacht owners and captains to meet their needs.

Ensures all fuel transactions are accurately recorded and reported for billing purposes.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of fuel prices and market trends to provide competitive and fair pricing to clients.

Trains and supervises the fuel operator team, ensuring they are knowledgeable about safety procedures, customer service standards, and operational protocols.

Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, including spill prevention and response procedures.

Coordinates with the Marina Team to ensure all fueling equipment is in good working condition and receives regular maintenance.

Provides input on fuel-related revenues and operating expenses for budgeting purposes, monitoring budget vs. actual and taking appropriate action in case of variances.

Assists in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fueling operations.

Ensures customer satisfaction by addressing any complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Maintains communication with marina management, dock staff, and customers through VHF radio and other means.

Conducts regular inspections and audits of fueling operations to ensure quality and compliance.
Specifications:
Management Responsibilities: Directly manages the customer facing fuel team in collaboration with the fuel barge operator. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; scheduling and planning of staff and other resources; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); or two to five years related supervisory/management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

VHF Operator’s certificate, boating license, and basic first aid required.

Valid Driver’s License.

Experience in fueling operations, preferably in a marina or similar environment.

Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to fuel handling and storage.
